What is the manosphere?

The manosphere is a loose network of online communities and spaces that produce and share content aimed at men and boys. While this content often claims to support men’s well-being or address common struggles for men, it often promotes harmful messages about gender, relationships, and masculinity.

These communities typically blame feminism as a cause of men’s challenges, positioning men as victims of social change. Much of the content that is spread in these spaces reinforces sexist attitudes, rigid gender roles, and hostility toward women and LGBTQ+ people.
